Aisha joined Audible, Inc. as the VP of Urban Innovation as part of the recently launched Global Center for Urban Development. Her efforts focus on Audible’s investment in advancing equitable development, racial justice and economic empowerment in its corporate hometown of Newark, N.J. and in cities worldwide. Ms. Glover has nearly 20 years of experience as a convener, champion and agent for economic empowerment and social justice.
She’s served in leadership economic development positions in both Newark and NYC including as President & CEO of Invest Newark under Mayor Ras J. Baraka, as President & CEO of the Newark Alliance and as VP of External Affairs at the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hunter College of the City University of New York, a Masters of Public Administration from Baruch College of the City University of New York and an executive leadership certificate from the Columbia Business School, School of Social Enterprise.
